One of GM Scott’s slaughtermen is about to have his forty-second anniversary in his career. Our youngest employee is third generation. Our CEO began his career on the abattoir floor.

Our uptake of state of the art robotic automation and the world’s most sophisticated processing equipment has not negated the importance of experience in our abattoir services. When understanding gained by a forty-two year career, growing up in the business and working in every facet merges with avant-garde possibilities, extraordinary becomes the adjective for our everyday results.

We are able to process 3,800 lambs and 200 cattle daily. All our meat is gas flushed and vacuum sealed. We have holding yards for 7,000 lambs. We produce 5,000 units of gas flushed primal cuts and 5,000 units of ready for sale portions already. During 2010, we will complete a new load-out facility and chiller to increase our beef capacity by 200.

GM Scott is respectful of Islamic Halal requirements. We hold a current Certificate of Halal Capacity, which authorises us to produce Halal sheep, lamb and goat products under the guidelines of the Supreme Islamic Council of Halal Meat Australia, Inc.

We adhere to the specific conditions which include that the Islamic Zabiha be conducted by Muslim Slaughtermen nominated by the Islamic Council, with correct supervision of the follow through process. Every shipment of Halal meat leaves GM Scott with the correct Halal Certificate in place.

GM Scott’s lamb meat upholds the associations evoked by its Noble Farm brand name.
Only lambs that meet MSA quality standards are selected. Only top tier lamb meat is produced.

Natural grass feeding is augmented with a supplementary grain mix formulated by a team of agricultural nutritionists and our experienced livestock managers. It intends to support nature, not overthrow it.

Low stress handling and processing ensures optimal eating quality. We offer all our customers a complete range of gas flushed, cryovac sealed products to ensure extended shelf life and maximal hygiene.

Superior resources and a team of passionate producers has enabled us to create the premium quality range of products labelled Noble Farm Beef.

Our new by-products facility brings our products and services up to the highest level achievable worldwide.

We provide pet foods to various specifications. We also provide meat and bone meal for the port and poultry industries, and for export markets.

Our meat and bone meal is formulated from abattoir offals, meal and bone and blood from oxen, mutton and lamb. Because the product contains mammalian material, it should not be used as feed for cattle, sheep, goats, deer or other ruminants. It comprises:

Our state of the art by-products facility provides the highest quality salting and packaging process for our clients. GM Scott ensures that all clients receive optimal returns for their hides and skins.
